Mr Thomas Santarius is a Consultant Neurosurgeon practicing at the Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, UK. He specialises in brain tumour surgery in adults, but also in children.

Mr Santarius has completed his neurosurgical training in Cambridge with additional sub-specialist experience in other neurosurgery centres in the UK, France and the USA.

His clinical, teaching and research efforts are focused on better understanding of surgical anatomy, perfecting surgical techniques, advancing our knowledge of the biology of brain tumours, especially meningioma, and is committed to constantly improving the way we manage patients with brain tumours.

He is the Chair of the Meningioma and Metastasis Subgroup of the National Cancer Research Institute and the current President of the British-Irish Meningioma Society.
